  PBS kids is a noncommercial, safe and educational online space just for kids. Not only are the online games fun, they are created with educational goals in mind. Offline activities and suggestions for creative play are provided to extend learning. A great site for teachers and parents. Lots of games and Language Arts activities on well known characters in  childrens books.

These are Scholastic Books web sites. Number 1 is the Canadian site and is a great site to browse and look at childrens books. You can place your scholastic book order on line. It has activities and games. It has components for kids, parents and children. Number 2 is the American site and has lots of links to authors sites and activities for teachers, parents and kids.
