Task Number 4: Class cooperative, small group and independent activities.

  1. Make a special heart for your friend. Make it in a drawing software program such as Kid Pix.
  2. Make a Dough Art picture frame and put your picture in it. Give it to someone special. 
  3. Make some puppy chow and share it with a friend.
  4. Make some cookies  to share with a friend.

 
 
 
Process:
 
  • With the class visit the Internet Web Site with the same number as the activity. Make sure you read any instructions written under your doggy button.
  •  Ask your teacher to find the instructions for the activity and read them to the class.
  • Make the heart in a software program where you can do drawing. Make lots of designs on it. Ask your teacher to print it. Give it to a friend. 
  • Ask your teacher to do the Dough Art picture frame as an Art lesson with the class. Ask your teacher to take pictures of each of the children in the class so that you will have a picture to put in your picture frame. Give it to someone special.
  • With your teacher make a plan to collect the things needed to make the puppy chow and the cookies.
  • In small groups with the teacher or a parent helper make the puppy chow and the cookies. Share what you make with a friend.
